He went on to play second base at Shoreline C.C. and Willamette University.In 1996, Coach Mullen established PureAthleticism baseball camps with the goal of teaching sound fundamental skills to youth players in Magnolia, while giving high school and college level players the opportunity to develop as coaches. Jeff adheres to the philosophy that athletics give young athletes unique and enjoyable opportunities to set and achieve goals, and to develop character/leadership skills that will ultimately extend beyond the playing field. Coach Mullen has spent 13 seasons as a baseball coach at Seattle Prep high school. Jeff has also served as an assistant girl’s basketball coach at Prep for two seasons, helping them to finish 4th place in the 2010 State Tournament. Jeff is also the Commissioner for the Magnolia Little League Majors baseball program. The 2010 season will be Coach Mullen’s 2nd season as a coach with the Magnolia Baseball Club. |
